Gold Coast, Qld

We are now at the most Eastern point of our travels - the Gold Coast!

We have travelled 9000km so far.  Time for a car service and some new tyres. 




We stayed at the Gold Coast 9 days and had a great time.
We are staying right near the theme parks and the caravan park has a pool with a waterslide, a jumping pillow, some ponies and a BMX track!  Unfortunately it has been incredibly wet so we haven't been able to make the most of these facilities.

The kids didn't care about the rain & still used the pool and waterslide.

 

 

 

On Mother's Day we had breakfast at the café and the kids made me a lovely card.

Thanks to the grandparents for the theme park ticket birthday presents - we have been to theme parks for 6 days - I'm glad we're finishing here because even if the kids are not tired, the parents are!

On the coast we also caught up with Mum's family, Pam, Ray & David.  Thanks Pam for the lovely dinner and evening catching up.  Hope we'll see you in the Northern Territory.

The next few pages don't contain much text, they are a pictorial account of our theme park visits. 
We visited Wet n Wild on the only fine day - had a ball, Remi and Kian went on every extreme waterslide without fear (Dan was a bit nervous on one) and even extreme Mum went racing down the classic old slides (making sure she sat up to slow herself down though).  There are no photos from Wet n Wild.
