Down to Earth Again

<Mum>
Rémi was over the Moon with our days in Space, particularly visiting the Dish and the Solar System drive.

That night we stayed near the Compact Array at Yarrie Lake.  It is an almost circular lake that was formed thousands of years ago when a meteorite hit the earth.  That ended our journey to space!
Yarrie Lake
There weren’t many earthlings at Yarrie Lake and we had a bush campsite and beach all to ourselves.

The next few days we did earthly things like lighting campfires, roasting marshmallows, bike riding and playing at the beach.

<Asha>

We stayed at a dam and Rémi and Mum went fishing and caught little fish.

We played in the fountain park.  It was fun.

We had campfires every night.

It was cold in the mornings (Mum: 4 deg!).
There was a kookaburra sitting in the old gum tree.  We fed it bread.
