Atherton Tablelands

<Rémi>
We drove through the Atherton Tablelands.
That day we stopped at a few places.

First we visited a dairy and cheese factory.  It was a Sunday though so they weren't operating but we could still look at their machinery and equipment.
The dairy cows.
This is the turntable where the cows are milked twice a day.

Baby cows are called calves.

This is where they make the cheese.

We then stopped at a waterfall called Millaa Millaa falls.  It was cold that day (18deg) so we didn't swim.

After the waterfall we looked at Windy Hill - a windfarm.
The windmills are used to generate electricity.  The windmill size, shape and blade direction is specifically designed to produce the most electricity from the wind.
The windmills are staggered across the hill so that they don't interfere with power generation of nearby windmills (they don't produce too much turbulence or slipstream each other).
