Daintree

<Kian>
We left Cairns and went to Wonga Beach which is just past port Douglas and on the edge of the Daintree Rainforest.
<Rémi>
This is as far North in Queensland as we are going and just about as far from Perth as we can get...3450km.

It has taken us many more than 3450km to get to here!

<Zeke>
In the Wonga Beach campground there were lots of big insects
Praying mantis..
Rhino beetle
Hundreds of cane toads

White Lipped Green Tree Frog

Big spiders (that Mum really doesn't like)

Even snakes.
Kian almost stepped on this Northern Death Adder.  These are only a small snake but have very long fangs and their bite can kill.

Check out the spine on the end of its tail.
