We went to Bowen, not far from Airlie Beach. It has a bay with lots of coral for snorkelling.
Unfortunately the weather was cold and windy - not good for snorkelling.
All the boys climbed the rocks..
and Asha collected coral.
There was lots of coral so would have been good snorkelling if the water was clear.
The wind did make good waves, so Dad & I went boogie boarding
There was a big sea snake on the beach.
It has a flat vertical tail for steering through the water.
Now Asha has a two wheel scooter too, so we all got to ride
Next to the skatepark was a waterpark
The weather wasn't great for snorkelling, but we still had fun!
