We went
to the Pro Bull Riding (like a rodeo). I had been
looking forward to it for weeks and I was sooooo excited.
The bull riders wear quite fancy cowboy costumes.
The riders have to stay on the bulls for 8 seconds. Only 1 hand can touch the bull and the other hand can’t touch anything (not the bull or themselves). If it touches they are disqualified. That is why they always have 1 hand in the air.
The riders get big scores if the bull is very jumpy, spins around and bucks a lot.
This rider stayed on for ages.

They are big bulls.
These funny dressed men are called bull fighters. They distract the bull so that the rider can get away safely after they have fallen off.
Sometimes
the bulls will not leave the ring. This
is very funny and the bull fighters have to run around doing funny ticks to get
the bull out. But they have to jump up
on the fences if the bull chases them.
The
bulls were named wild names like Avatar, Firecracker, Kung Fu Juice, Nitro and
Arachnophobia.
We all
loved the bull riding so much that we asked Mum & Dad if we can go to
Darwin next week to see the next round of the competition.
And
they’ve said yes – YEH!!!

bull riding we saw some fireworks. They
were blasting in the sky and they were crackling like rockets.
